An authentic black licorice ice cream using 3 different natural ingredients to give it that special kick! We sourced locally at our neighbor: The Herbal Apothecary. The benefit of using real licorice root and star anise is that it doesn't have that "medicine" flavor that artificial flavoring has. When we did taste testing on this flavor, we had several people say "I don't normally like black licorice, but I like this!"
